Thala Ajit , Maddy , Rajini - Bharat - Mahabharat - 74
A lot of us ( Yours truely very much included ) have this habit of posting pictures on the social media and derive a sense of achievement when comments or likes are recieved for their posts .
Three posts of the recent past in varied contexts and under very different circumstances come to mind . I leave it to you to judge as to what impact these have on the public in general and the youth at large .

An ardent and diehard fan of Thala Ajith posted a picture of " Thala " celebrating the Birthday of his daughter on his
Facebook page . Comments ranging from
SEMMA THALA , SUPER ,WAY TO GO , THALA -THALA THAAN , KATHUKO - THALA KITTA KATHUKO and many such comments on a similar vein by the other ardent fan brigades were posted in response to this .
THE QUESTION IN MY MIND IS
Is it not natural for someone to celebrate one s close relative s birthday or do we have to follow the footsteps of some goddamned person who has a mass following on the silver screen .

Avani Avittam is an auspicious occasion wherein a particular sect change their POONOOL or sacred thread on this auspicious day . There was a post in the Facebook wherein MADDY or Actor Madhavan is shown going through the process in the August presence of his Father and Son . This invited a host of trolls and Actor Madhavan was taken to the cleaners with comments that can't even be typed or printed .
THE QUESTION IN MY MIND IS
Is it wrong to practice a tradition that has been passed down the ages and has stood the test of time only to be trolled by goddamned fools on one's secular standing . Madhavan has been a clear role model for others in the clan to continue with the age old tradition and practices .

The final one really and clearly takes the cake . Rajnikant on being asked his views on the implementation of Article 370 by the media responds to the effect that the action taken by the Government is welcome and long overdue . He further goes on to add that the Amit Shah - Modi combo has been the equivalent of the modern day Krishna - Arjuna combine of the great epic Mahabharata . Meme s and trolls have had a rollicking time and a field day in depicting as to who among the two is the Arjuna or Krishna . Rajnikant for his part on being questioned on the subject has made it clear that it is for the two to decide on who is to play which part in this political drama of equally epic proportion .

If Shah - Modi are the Arjuna - Krishna combo of the epic Mahabharatha , who are the other lead characters in this Great Nation Of Bharath .
Kashmir to Kayakumari - Dharmaputra
Rajnath Singh - Bheem
Ajit Kumar Doval - Nakular
Jaishankar Iyer - Sahadev
The Pride of Place of Panchali or Draupadi would naturally go to the INDIAN CONSTITUTION .
Dhritarashtra would be the British Empire which let all this happen knowing fully well that this would be catastrophic in the long run .
Karnan - Mehbooba Mufti -Farook Abdulla
Sanjayan , who gave a Television coverage of the war as it was unfolding to the Blind Dhritarashtra ( it is probably all of us now , you me and everybody else ) is now taken up by the various Visual and Print Media who also go by the name of Nelson , Sukirtha , Bharkha and their ilk . The one difference is that they will present the picture as instructed by their paymasters and never what is perceived as true or real .
As for the Duryodhan , Duschadanan and others in the epic , their presence barring a few places in Central India is now limited to a few pockets this side of the Vindhya s . Their annihilation now seems imminent in the near future .
