VAIKUNDA EKADESI 2020 AT MANNARKOVIL 123




For the last almost 8 years , I have had the good fortune to visit various Perumal Kovil and seek HIS Blessings on the Vaikunda Ekadesi Day and the Opening of the Parama Pada Vaasal .
One such Temple is The Shree Rajagopala Swami Temple at Mannarkovil near Ambasamudram . This well endowed and maintained Temple is hardly 2 Kms from my place at Agasthiarpatty .

This place is famous for its association with Kulasekara Alwaar . The mammoth crowd in  for this years function seems to suggest a gradual shift to an aesthetic path by the masses .

US VISIT 3 - SURPRISE PACKAGE - 777

         SURPRISE PACKAGE      VISIT TO NEW VRINDABAN  Our plan was to head for our home in Ajax after Breakfast as it was almost an Eight hour drive back home with  a number of Pitstops in between .   Sathya and Vandana gave us ( Revathy and Myself ) a pleasant Surprise by informing us that we were heading for NEW VRINDABAN instead  in the neighboring State of WEST VIRGINIA  . New VRINDABAN is the US Headquarters of the Popular  HARE KRISHNA OR ISKON Community in the US and the final resting place of their founder or PRABHUPADA . NAVARATHRI GOLU 2025 - AJAX - 795

                    NAVARATHRI 2025   --  AJAX  We are at my Son and Daughter In Law’s place at Ajax in Canada this year for the Navarathri Festival . It is  a festival which has the Ladies garnering all the limelight during the Nine Day Festival with THE GOLU as the highlight . The men in the house have to get down the Cartons from the attic with the neatly packed idols of last year stored there with utmost care . Cleaning and dusting the same takes some doing . Getting the 5 or 7 Deck GOLU PADI is a big task in itself . Haarish , my son is good with his hands which includes the Carpentry work also .
