USING COVID LOCKDOWN TO CONTACT
                  OLD ACQUAINTANCES


One activity during the lockdown period was to re establish contact with my long lost friends .
After a lot of research I was   able to locate one of my  SASMIRA days batchmates  and a close friend Rajiv Dhusia . After a lot of banter about  his present status and that of his family . It was a pleasant throwback to the old togetherness and the  happy times that we had spent together  .
Many pleasant memories of the  SASMIRA times  were exchanged . 
The conversation finally led me to enquire as to what he was doing at that particular time of the day  as  the 2 nd lockdown was now in force at Mumbai and had become a very serious challenge to everyone , The Government  , Bureaucracy and the public at large .

His reply however  took me by total surprise .

He said that at that very  instant he was working  on a special project which was going to be a big help to the family and especially to his wife  which was Labeled as 

" HIGH PRESSURE AQUA THERMAL TREATMENT OF CERAMICS, ALUMINIUM AND STEEL "

THIS WAS BEING CARRIED OUT UNDER VERY STRICT STRINGENT AND CONTROLLED CONDITIONS WITH EACH STEP AND ACTION BEING MONITORED AT VERY CLOSE QUARTERS .

It took me a very long time to realize that  the poor man was just washing the utensils under the watchful and strict  supervision of his wife .

இந்த ஆங்கிலம் ஒரு வித்யாசமான பாஷை . ரொம்ப யோசித்த பிறகு தான்
இதன் அர்த்தம் புரிந்தது
அதாவது , சார் தன் மனைவியின் மேற் பார்வையில் பாத்திரம் கழுவி கொண்டு
இருக்கிறார் .

ये अंग्रेजी भी बड़ा गज़ब का भाषा है
बहुत सोचने के बाद पता चला की
मिया अपने घरवाली की निगरानी में
घर में बर्तन मांज रहा है

 AYODHYA YAATRA  DAY - ONE     Sundar Holiday Travels  As instructed  by Mr Ashok of Sunder Travels , we were dot on time at 9.00 thanks primarily due to smooth flow of traffic from Vadapalani to the Chennai  Airport .  Other Yatrees also slowly trooped in . Ashok seemed to have his way with the Indigo Airways . Group Check in saved us a lot of time . Ayodhya Yaatraa Day -3 - 704

                  Ayodhya Yatra - Day 3  The highlight of the day was to be the Holy Dip in the Triveni Sangamam .  For the uninformed Triveni Sangamam is the place where the Three Rivers Ganga Yamuna and Saraswathy converge into one . It is the place where Veni Daanam is given after a bath in the River .  The 20 Minute Boat Ride takes you to this place of convergence of these three rivers . The Boatmen help you to take a dip in the water . Old set of clothes are discarded symbolising the discarding of everything bad and the start of a new fresh life .  Ganga is slightly murky while the Yamuna is clearer , Saraswathy is Antervaahini and it converges under water .  The Dhambadhi Pooja after the Dip in the Holy Waters  was performed with all the diligence that the occasion demands .  VAIKOM VISIT - IN GODS OWN                     COUNTRY  Kerala has always been my favourite place of visit over the years . Its cleanliness , its greenery,  waterways , not to forget its spirituality and beautiful people in more ways than one  have always held  a special attraction for  me . We , that is me and my Better Half have visited Kerala before  and visited many of  its  Temples and Tourist Attractions.  One place missing in this list has been the Viakom  Sri Mahadeva Temple . We decided to embark  on  a visit to this place and Mami was spot on to point out that there was a direct Train from Ambasamudram to Vaikom Road by the 16792 Palaruvi Express starting from ASD at 11.57 PM and reaching Vaikom Road Station at 7.30 Am the next morning .
