MOONU PATTU RUBAA , DUS RUPIAH MEIN TEEN - 165
MOONU PATTU RUBA , DUS RUPIAH MEIN TEEN
The more than one month of LOCKDOWN due to COVID 19 has left one and all with varying degree of boredom depending upon ones age , gender and occupation .
Today being Sunday , the 26 th of April and with extra Lockdown Measures in force , the boredom s even more so .
This was when I noticed the pushcart wala with his Banana and Guava laden cart being pushed around our colony for sale .
He was a pleasant looking man , well past the middle age and sweating profusely with all the effort required to fruit laden cart and also having to shout
Moonu Pattu Ruba & Dus Rupiah Mein Teen
This is when a thought to be a good samaritan entered my mind and on a sudden impulse I approached the cartwala and asked him if he would exchange places for a short while . He could take rest in the ample shade of the large Mango Tree in the compound while I continue with the fruit sale in the adjoining two streets . He could have his money while I could have had the satisfaction of moving out and stretching my legs after almost a month .
His reply was a real surprise .
He went on to say that he had no problem in exchanging places with me . The only problem was that he was not the owner of the cart and that he himself had exchanged places with the actual owner who was now taking rest in the Party Hall of the Apartment Complex Six Blocks Away .
