WEIGHT REDUCTION BY WALKING IS NOT A FAD
I used to pride myself at my seemingly low body weight of about 65 kgs or thereabouts .
Lesser activity while in Canada or possibly the more intake of food at my Daughter/SIL and or my DIL/SON'S Place has seen a sharp increase in weight . I have been recording the same on an Off and On basis

A reduction of exactly 2Kgs from Feb 2020 figures of 68.2 kgs to 66.2 Kgs on 14 th June 2020 .
I have not made any drastic change in the diet or eating habits .
In these lockdown days when the physical activity is comparively lesser , I have taken WALKING as a part of my daily routine and cover 6 + kms and 9000+ steps everyday . Half the target are covered in the morning and the other half in the evening . Having a compounded and paved way of 175 steps around the house is a big help . 20 rounds around the house each morning and evening does make achieving the target easier .
Take it from me , a non believer myself in the beginning , walking does help in weight reduction .
SETTING ASIDE ONE AND A HALF HOURS EVERYDAY IS A VERY SMALL PRICE TO PAY FOR AN ALL AROUND " HEALTHIER YOU " WITH A NEXT TO " NIL " MEDICAL BILL EVER HAVING TO BE PAID FOR AS AN ADDED AND MOST WELCOME BONUS IN THESE DAYS OF ASTRONOMICAL MEDICAL BILLINGS .
