For eons now , there have been innumerable stories of the Mother's love for their offsprings  .
But the above video of a mother presenting her son with an AK 47 Assault Rifle on his wedding day makes an interesting reading 

This unique event is purported to have taken place in Pakistan , the attire and the general demeanor does suggest that this does have its roots in some South Asian Country .

I guess the mother is surely not presenting her son with the Assault Rifle to  safeguard the Nation's Frontiers as part of his duties as an Army Man  , That  job is better  left to his  Army Superiors. 

On a lighter note , I guess the Mother is presenting the AK47 Assault Rifle to Safeguard Himself against the Dangerous , Risky , Unforeseen , Tumultuous , Physical , Verbal and a Thousand other such hazards  that He might have to face as he embarks upon  a new journey as a married man in as yet uncharted space .

 AYODHYA YAATRA  DAY - ONE     Sundar Holiday Travels  As instructed  by Mr Ashok of Sunder Travels , we were dot on time at 9.00 thanks primarily due to smooth flow of traffic from Vadapalani to the Chennai  Airport .  Other Yatrees also slowly trooped in . Ayodhya Yaatraa Day -3 - 704

                  Ayodhya Yatra - Day 3  The highlight of the day was to be the Holy Dip in the Triveni Sangamam .  For the uninformed Triveni Sangamam is the place where the Three Rivers Ganga Yamuna and Saraswathy converge into one . It is the place where Veni Daanam is given after a bath in the River .  The 20 Minute Boat Ride takes you to this place of convergence of these three rivers . The Boatmen help you to take a dip in the water . Old set of clothes are discarded symbolising the discarding of everything bad and the start of a new fresh life .  Ganga is slightly murky while the Yamuna is clearer , Saraswathy is Antervaahini and it converges under water .  The Dhambadhi Pooja after the Dip in the Holy Waters  was performed with all the diligence that the occasion demands .  VAIKOM VISIT - IN GODS OWN                     COUNTRY  Kerala has always been my favourite place of visit over the years . Its cleanliness , its greenery,  waterways , not to forget its spirituality and beautiful people in more ways than one  have always held  a special attraction for  me . We , that is me and my Better Half have visited Kerala before  and visited many of  its  Temples and Tourist Attractions.  One place missing in this list has been the Viakom  Sri Mahadeva Temple . We decided to embark  on  a visit to this place and Mami was spot on to point out that there was a direct Train from Ambasamudram to Vaikom Road by the 16792 Palaruvi Express starting from ASD at 11.57 PM and reaching Vaikom Road Station at 7.30 Am the next morning .
