Lady Luck for some unfathomable reason has always chosen to maintain a SAFE DISTANCE from me  thus far . Of late however there is a  change in my fortune . Lady luck seems to have developed  a sudden liking for me so much so that there has been a sudden barrage of  many mails   which  inform me of many a windfall  in cash and kind  .

A) The above mail from the WHO wing of the United Nations informs me of winning £ 500 Thousand , which in Rupees would roughly be ( give or take a few lakhs ) 

5000000 x 100 = Rs 500000000 /-

( Geneva is mentioned as one of the largest Cities in the USA and  the many Grammatical Errors in the mail even for a layman like me are enough to raise doubts about its authenticity  )

B) The Mail from the Daimler  Mercedes Benz Company of Germany informing me of Me having won their   Limited Edition Super Luxury Model Delux  Car as part of their Marketing Strategy .

C) BBC , oh yes , the British Broadcasting Corporarion informs me of having won all of £1000 Thousand British Pounds as part of their Poverty Alleviation Programme . ( WHOSE poverty is the big question ) 

D) Instant Approval of Loan to the tune of Rs 20 Lakhs without any Document or Background Verifications from one of the many private Banks that keep sprouting every day  . * Point to note here is that I had never applied for a loan in the first place in any bank .

All these , put together would put me in contention with you know who Locally .

ON A MORE SERIOUS NOTE : 

 Being the 401 Blogspot and  on the eve of an important event in my life , I wanted this post to be special and convey a useful message to caution  everyone on these dubious mails that we receive from time to time .

These are a well laid out tool to make you fall into their trap . The FORM  that you end up  filling will over a  petiod of time make you part with sensitive information regarding your Bank Account and OTP , Your account  will be cleaned up by these unscrupulous tech wizards in a jiffy and before you know it , you would have lost all your savings .

Have a hearty laugh and share the joke with your friends , relatives and officemates and forget ever  having  received these mails .
