Certain names and personalities bring an instant sense of awe and admiration each time their name is  mentioned in passing during a casual conversation . For all you know you might never have met them at any time during your life . 

The sheer awe of their personality , Intellectual , Sporting or Man Managerial is always  the stand out features of  these great  souls .

Just Consider these names : Kamala Harris , S Jaishankar , Nirmala  Sitaraman , All three are astute politicians who have made it to the top of the political ladder by virtue of their dedication and never say die attitude .

Sunder Pitchai and Indira Nooyi , both at the pinnacle of the fortune 500 companies and all time  leaders in their own rights .

Shreyas Iyer and Venkatesh Iyer besides Ravichandran Ashwin , all three now hogging the limelight due to their achievement on the sporting field .

The above collection  are just a random vocations of an equally random set of people .

What all of them though have in common is that they all belong to a sect that is looked down in all possible ways and means in this part of the World/Country .

This is just an iota of the scenario that I am trying to portray . Less than  One percent of the population  by their sheer acumen , hard work , ingenuity and perseverance are making their mark even when they are forced out of the land which they still hold  in very high esteem and  close to their heart .

 AYODHYA YAATRA  DAY - ONE     Sundar Holiday Travels  As instructed  by Mr Ashok of Sunder Travels , we were dot on time at 9.00 thanks primarily due to smooth flow of traffic from Vadapalani to the Chennai  Airport .  Other Yatrees also slowly trooped in . Ashok seemed to have his way with the Indigo Airways . Group Check in saved us a lot of time . Lunch packet Distribution done we were on our way and were before time at Lucknow .  Lucknow was a lot different from what I had imagined , airport was spotlessly clean as was their baggage handling services .  Mr Ashok saw to it that we were off on a Bus to Ayodhya in a flash . Ayodhya Yaatraa Day -3 - 704

                  Ayodhya Yatra - Day 3  The highlight of the day was to be the Holy Dip in the Triveni Sangamam .  For the uninformed Triveni Sangamam is the place where the Three Rivers Ganga Yamuna and Saraswathy converge into one . It is the place where Veni Daanam is given after a bath in the River .  The 20 Minute Boat Ride takes you to this place of convergence of these three rivers . The Boatmen help you to take a dip in the water . Old set of clothes are discarded symbolising the discarding of everything bad and the start of a new fresh life .  Ganga is slightly murky while the Yamuna is clearer , Saraswathy is Antervaahini and it converges under water .  The Dhambadhi Pooja after the Dip in the Holy Waters  was performed with all the diligence that the occasion demands .  VAIKOM VISIT - IN GODS OWN                     COUNTRY  Kerala has always been my favourite place of visit over the years . Its cleanliness , its greenery,  waterways , not to forget its spirituality and beautiful people in more ways than one  have always held  a special attraction for  me . We , that is me and my Better Half have visited Kerala before  and visited many of  its  Temples and Tourist Attractions.  One place missing in this list has been the Viakom  Sri Mahadeva Temple . We decided to embark  on  a visit to this place and Mami was spot on to point out that there was a direct Train from Ambasamudram to Vaikom Road by the 16792 Palaruvi Express starting from ASD at 11.57 PM and reaching Vaikom Road Station at 7.30 Am the next morning .
