      SO MANY OPTIONS FOR TEAM INDIA 


Barring some Divine Help , the chances of India making it through to the next round of the T20 World Cup looks rather remote . Even a diehard fan will admit that expecting India to beat Afghanistan , Scotland and Namibia comprehensively and overtake NewZealand in the Net Run Rate and join our Friend Pakistan for the next round is almost like looking for the Oasis in the arid  desert of the Gulf .

Nonetheless , India now has the luxury of three options to turn the tables , 

They could take the Abu Dhabi - Delhi Flight and head back home and dance to the music awaiting them , 

Or they could take the Sharjah - Delhi flight to count the money they made during their IPL Campaign  , 

Or wallow in the Business Class Luxury of the Emirates Airlines from Dubai to the Various Destinations that they cater to in India . They are reputed to fly you to almost your home &  to your Doorstep .

 AYODHYA YAATRA  DAY - ONE     Sundar Holiday Travels  As instructed  by Mr Ashok of Sunder Travels , we were dot on time at 9.00 thanks primarily due to smooth flow of traffic from Vadapalani to the Chennai  Airport .  Other Yatrees also slowly trooped in . Ashok seemed to have his way with the Indigo Airways . Group Check in saved us a lot of time .                   Ayodhya Yatra - Day 3  The highlight of the day was to be the Holy Dip in the Triveni Sangamam .  For the uninformed Triveni Sangamam is the place where the Three Rivers Ganga Yamuna and Saraswathy converge into one . It is the place where Veni Daanam is given after a bath in the River .  The 20 Minute Boat Ride takes you to this place of convergence of these three rivers . The Boatmen help you to take a dip in the water . Old set of clothes are discarded symbolising the discarding of everything bad and the start of a new fresh life .  Ganga is slightly murky while the Yamuna is clearer , Saraswathy is Antervaahini and it converges under water .  The Dhambadhi Pooja after the Dip in the Holy Waters  was performed with all the diligence that the occasion demands .  VAIKOM VISIT - IN GODS OWN                     COUNTRY  Kerala has always been my favourite place of visit over the years . Its cleanliness , its greenery,  waterways , not to forget its spirituality and beautiful people in more ways than one  have always held  a special attraction for  me . We , that is me and my Better Half have visited Kerala before  and visited many of  its  Temples and Tourist Attractions.  One place missing in this list has been the Viakom  Sri Mahadeva Temple . We decided to embark  on  a visit to this place and Mami was spot on to point out that there was a direct Train from Ambasamudram to Vaikom Road by the 16792 Palaruvi Express starting from ASD at 11.57 PM and reaching Vaikom Road Station at 7.30 Am the next morning .
