The Long awaited Canadian Visa - 483

LONG AWAITED CANADIAN VISA 


 With both our Son and Daughter settled in Canada , there was a need for a Visitor Visa to enable us to spend time with them . The Pandemic delayed our plans by almost 2 years . We were referred to by my Son to M/S Tern Voyages Private Limited at Chennai for getting our Canadian Visitor Visa . Our go to person at Tern Voyages was Syed Irfan Ali , a relative youngster who was all verve and enthusiasm in all his dealings with us . We being at Ambasamudram , a small town near Tirunelveli and Tern Voyages operating from Chennai was not at all an issue at all .

The entire process of filling up of the umpteen documents , setting up the Bio Metric Appointment , Visa Approval and getting the Tickets for our journey were completed in just 35 days . The important point to note here is that we visited Chennai only once  and that too for giving  the Bio Metric at the VFS office   and spent less than an hour at the  Tern Voyages Office and also our face to face contact with Irfan lasted even less than that  . The Tern Voyages Team and especially IRFAN  need to be Congratulated for a job extremely well done . 

We are in our early 70 s and have all the idiosyncrasies associated with that age . Not a day might have passed without atleast half a dozen calls or messages from us to Irfan which included even the Sundays and other holidays.  Irfan though took all this in his stride and was always at his cheerful best and got the job done to our utmost satisfaction..

 VAIKOM VISIT - IN GODS OWN                     COUNTRY  Kerala has always been my favourite place of visit over the years . Its cleanliness , its greenery,  waterways , not to forget its spirituality and beautiful people in more ways than one  have always held  a special attraction for  me . We , that is me and my Better Half have visited Kerala before  and visited many of  its  Temples and Tourist Attractions.  One place missing in this list has been the Viakom  Sri Mahadeva Temple . We decided to embark  on  a visit to this place and Mami was spot on to point out that there was a direct Train from Ambasamudram to Vaikom Road by the 16792 Palaruvi Express starting from ASD at 11.57 PM and reaching Vaikom Road Station at 7.30 Am the next morning . On Northern Most Point Thus Far - 604

Setting Foot on the  Northern Most  Point Thus Far Travelled by Me . Coming as this does within 10 days of my arrival in Canada, our trip to Waskesiu was unique in more ways than one . Waskesiu which is about 450 Kms from Regina and is at the Northern Most point in the Saskatchewan Province of Canada .  As with most other regions , this place is unique for ,  Literally 100 s of waterfronts and beaches . Shrouded by tall trees all around where the Suns Rays rarely reach the ground level directly and unhindered . Home to Bear , Deer and Elf . We were lucky to spot all the three during our trip on Road . There are Beautiful Resorts all around where visitors from all  across Canada , spend Time and Money in huge numbers to savor the Natural Beauty which is in abundance here . During Summer Months the Weather in these areas are on the lines of Kodaikanal or Uthagamandalam at its coldest .
