AWARD OF EXCELLENCE  REGINA - CANADA 

For the uniformed , Canada is the 2nd largest Country in terms of Landed  Area in the World  . It comprises of 10 Provinces much like what we call STATES back in India Plus 3 Territories very much like our Union Territories in India . My Son Haarish has made it his Home at Toronto  in the Ontario Province ,  while  my Daughter has her Home at Regina in the Saskatchewan Province which is its Capital . Each Province has it's own Premier  and other Ministries . The Federal or Central Government is run from Ottawa, the Capital City . Justin Trudeau its Prime Minister is a known face to all in India .

My Daughter Anoobala is Employed in the Ministry of Corrections , Policing and Public Safety  from the year 2011 as a Software Professional . She has been at this Job ever since she gained entry into Canada first as a Permanent Resident and later as its Citizen .

The Ministry has a Programme by which they Recognize and Honour their Employees Annually with a  Citation  after evaluating their performance over the Years with 

     "AWARD OF EXCELLENCE"

My Daughter Anoobala has the distinction of  being   selected for the Award this Year and the Presentation was held today the 19 th of Sept 2023 at the Government House , Regina .



It is indeed a proud moment , coming as this does from a girl  who had her roots from a Small place called Vickramasingapuram near Ambasamudram in Tamilnadu , India . 

Vikaasa School , PLWA and Amali School , Papanasam Tiruvalluvar College and finally National Engineering College , Kovilpatty , have all been a reason and part of this Journey which has helped in making this happen .

Starting first , after College as an Employee of APR Agencies first at Kovilkulam and later at their Interlining Factory at Ambas as a raw hand in establishing the IT functions , the march to where she is now has been phenomenal .

 AS PARENTS WE ARE MIGHTY 
PROUD OF THIS ACHIEVEMENT

Setting Foot on the  Northern Most  Point Thus Far Travelled by Me . Coming as this does within 10 days of my arrival in Canada, our trip to Waskesiu was unique in more ways than one .           30/4/23  COATS STAFF GET TOGETHER -  Madura Coats Staff have all been a diverse group . Be it the Spinning , Weaving , Processing or being in any other supporting but important functions , the common thread that ran  among all the staff was working as a Group .This is  distinctly different from working for one's own individual climb in the ladder of supremacy as is the case with less successful organizations.  A lot many may  have worked  for a few years in Madura Coats and gone on to make their mark in their subsequent places of work . A few  have worked their entire career in this esteemed company .  Service in Madura Coats because of its work practices and ethics have gone on to be recognized in their subsequent places  of work . The camaraderie and togetherness of the staff after their retirement in Coats or Elsewhere has meant that all have kept contact with each other thanks to the various Social Media Platforms .
