AWARD OF EXCELLENCE  REGINA - CANADA 

For the uniformed , Canada is the 2nd largest Country in terms of Landed  Area in the World  . It comprises of 10 Provinces much like what we call STATES back in India Plus 3 Territories very much like our Union Territories in India . My Son Haarish has made it his Home at Toronto  in the Ontario Province ,  while  my Daughter has her Home at Regina in the Saskatchewan Province which is its Capital . Each Province has it's own Premier  and other Ministries . The Federal or Central Government is run from Ottawa, the Capital City . Justin Trudeau its Prime Minister is a known face to all in India .

My Daughter Anoobala is Employed in the Ministry of Corrections , Policing and Public Safety  from the year 2011 as a Software Professional . She has been at this Job ever since she gained entry into Canada first as a Permanent Resident and later as its Citizen .

The Ministry has a Programme by which they Recognize and Honour their Employees Annually with a  Citation  after evaluating their performance over the Years with 

     "AWARD OF EXCELLENCE"

My Daughter Anoobala has the distinction of  being   selected for the Award this Year and the Presentation was held today the 19 th of Sept 2023 at the Government House , Regina .



It is indeed a proud moment , coming as this does from a girl  who had her roots from a Small place called Vickramasingapuram near Ambasamudram in Tamilnadu , India . 

Vikaasa School , PLWA and Amali School , Papanasam Tiruvalluvar College and finally National Engineering College , Kovilpatty , have all been a reason and part of this Journey which has helped in making this happen .

Starting first , after College as an Employee of APR Agencies first at Kovilkulam and later at their Interlining Factory at Ambas as a raw hand in establishing the IT functions , the march to where she is now has been phenomenal .

 AS PARENTS WE ARE MIGHTY 
PROUD OF THIS ACHIEVEMENT

 AYODHYA YAATRA  DAY - ONE     Sundar Holiday Travels  As instructed  by Mr Ashok of Sunder Travels , we were dot on time at 9.00 thanks primarily due to smooth flow of traffic from Vadapalani to the Chennai  Airport .  Other Yatrees also slowly trooped in . Ashok seemed to have his way with the Indigo Airways . Group Check in saved us a lot of time . Ayodhya Yaatraa Day -3 - 704

                  Ayodhya Yatra - Day 3  The highlight of the day was to be the Holy Dip in the Triveni Sangamam .  For the uninformed Triveni Sangamam is the place where the Three Rivers Ganga Yamuna and Saraswathy converge into one . It is the place where Veni Daanam is given after a bath in the River .  The 20 Minute Boat Ride takes you to this place of convergence of these three rivers . The Boatmen help you to take a dip in the water . Old set of clothes are discarded symbolising the discarding of everything bad and the start of a new fresh life .  Ganga is slightly murky while the Yamuna is clearer , Saraswathy is Antervaahini and it converges under water .  The Dhambadhi Pooja after the Dip in the Holy Waters  was performed with all the diligence that the occasion demands .  VAIKOM VISIT - IN GODS OWN                     COUNTRY  Kerala has always been my favourite place of visit over the years . Its cleanliness , its greenery,  waterways , not to forget its spirituality and beautiful people in more ways than one  have always held  a special attraction for  me . We , that is me and my Better Half have visited Kerala before  and visited many of  its  Temples and Tourist Attractions.  One place missing in this list has been the Viakom  Sri Mahadeva Temple . We decided to embark  on  a visit to this place and Mami was spot on to point out that there was a direct Train from Ambasamudram to Vaikom Road by the 16792 Palaruvi Express starting from ASD at 11.57 PM and reaching Vaikom Road Station at 7.30 Am the next morning .
