 Anaheim DISNEYLAND Visit 















The 25 Mile travel from Lake Forrest Pleasant Stay America to Anaheim Disneyland was covered in 25 Minutes  Flat and the six of us ( self , wife , Anoo , Kamesh , Aarna ana Arya were at the entrance at 8.30 in the morning . The crowd had already started gathering . We had bought the ticket online and so that wait for the ticket was avoided . The Ticket Charges are very  high at 75 $ per head which at current consevative estimates is Rs 6000 per head  . The consolation is that because of the size of the Theme Park and various other attractions , the ticket is valid for 3 continuous days . The size of the park is huge and by my estimate it could easily be larger than the town of Ambasamudram . 

Kamesh and Anoo were smart enough to hire a stroller for our little one Arya . Almost everyone with a kid did so and the crowd at the Stroller hiring stall was as big as the ticket counter itself . After the mandatory security check of all and the personal  belongings and with a wrist band with the date of entry marked , we were let into the park .
The Travel from the entrance gate to the main park was by a Tram car journey of 10 mts .
All the Famous Disney creations , DONALD DUCK,  SCROOGE , MICKEY MOUSE  , DAISY AND others kept all of us and especially Aarna and Arya fully occupied . They were thrilled at shaking their hand and pictures taken with them .
Disney Adventure , Sleeping Beauty Castle , Jungle Cruise , Mickey s Townhouse and Autopia are something which cannot be described in words , it has to be experienced .
The crowd at the park is very difficult to even imagine . Some 1 Lakh people visit the same on normal days and Weekends sees even much larger crowds . People of every Race , Religion , Colour or Nationality visit this place in their Thousands . Inspite of this every aspect that needs to be looked into is managed very well, transport  , food , washrooms are all spotlessly clean and user friendly .

The procession in the evening with the entire Disney Characters and the lighting with the music is thrilling and one is at a loss of words to describe the same .
The booming fireworks with all the colours sparkling in the night sky is awe inspiring .

WALT DISNEY IS UNDOUBTEDLY  THE CREATOR OF THE 
MODERN DAY WONDER OF THE WORLD

 AYODHYA YAATRA  DAY - ONE     Sundar Holiday Travels  As instructed  by Mr Ashok of Sunder Travels , we were dot on time at 9.00 thanks primarily due to smooth flow of traffic from Vadapalani to the Chennai  Airport .  Other Yatrees also slowly trooped in . Ashok seemed to have his way with the Indigo Airways . Group Check in saved us a lot of time .  VAIKOM VISIT - IN GODS OWN                     COUNTRY  Kerala has always been my favourite place of visit over the years . Its cleanliness , its greenery,  waterways , not to forget its spirituality and beautiful people in more ways than one  have always held  a special attraction for  me . We , that is me and my Better Half have visited Kerala before  and visited many of  its  Temples and Tourist Attractions.  One place missing in this list has been the Viakom  Sri Mahadeva Temple . We decided to embark  on  a visit to this place and Mami was spot on to point out that there was a direct Train from Ambasamudram to Vaikom Road by the 16792 Palaruvi Express starting from ASD at 11.57 PM and reaching Vaikom Road Station at 7.30 Am the next morning . Nothing could be better ,  We made the Reservations for both the Up  and Down Jorneys on the 11 th and 13 th June with our  return slated from Ernakulam Town as we planned to visit the Chottanikara Bhaghavati Amman Temple on the 13 th mornin

Ayodhya Yaatraa Day -3 - 704

                  Ayodhya Yatra - Day 3  The highlight of the day was to be the Holy Dip in the Triveni Sangamam .  For the uninformed Triveni Sangamam is the place where the Three Rivers Ganga Yamuna and Saraswathy converge into one . It is the place where Veni Daanam is given after a bath in the River .  The 20 Minute Boat Ride takes you to this place of convergence of these three rivers . The Boatmen help you to take a dip in the water . Old set of clothes are discarded symbolising the discarding of everything bad and the start of a new fresh life .  Ganga is slightly murky while the Yamuna is clearer , Saraswathy is Antervaahini and it converges under water .  The Dhambadhi Pooja after the bath was performed with all the diligence that the occasion demands . The Sastrigal performed the ritual which is an almost second time marriage where vows are taken to lead a life in all happiness and begging forgiveness for the sins committed thus far .
