Strange International Borders - 660

   STRANGE  INTERNATIONAL                            BORDERS 

The picture that comes to mind when we talk of International Borders between Two Countries is often that of GUN TOTTING Army Men in their Army Fatigues with their Canine colleagues for company maintaining a strict vigil on the Border with a pair of Binoculars glued to their eyes.

 The oft repeated spectacle at the Wagha Border between India and Pakistan on our TV Screen is a case in point . 

By and large this seems to be true for most unfriendly neighbors , but there also many where crossing of each others Borders is a normal way of life .

 

Above is the Border between Slovakia , Hungary and Austria. Your one foot could be in Slovakia and the other in Hungary and your Hand taking something to eat from Austria .

A River is all that divides the three Countries of Argentina , Paraguay and Brazil .

The inmates of a single building could be from two different Countries altogether.  Bosnia and Crotia as in the above picture .

The above is a picture of Library on the US / CANADA Border . One could enter the Library from one Country and exit from the other if you had the Papers approved by both the Countries. 

The last one takes the Cake , I am not even sure if the comical story associated with the same is true.  The House stands smack in the middle of both the Countries . The Master Bed Room happens to be in the US and the Living Room in Canada . A long standing Courtroom tussle is going on in Canada where a Canadian Born person is Claiming US Citizenship based on the fact that as the BEDROOM is in the US , his CONCEPTION in normal circumstances could have taken  place only there and hence his claim for US Citizenship as a Right of Birth. 

SOMEWHAT ON THE LINES OF WHICH CAME FIRST : 

      " THE HEN OR THE EGG "
