AYODHYA YAATRA DAY 1 - 702

 AYODHYA YAATRA  DAY - ONE 

   Sundar Holiday Travels 

As instructed  by Mr Ashok of Sunder Travels , we were dot on time at 9.00 thanks primarily due to smooth flow of traffic from Vadapalani to the Chennai  Airport . 

Other Yatrees also slowly trooped in . Ashok seemed to have his way with the Indigo Airways . Group Check in saved us a lot of time . Lunch packet Distribution done we were on our way and were before time at Lucknow . 

Lucknow was a lot different from what I had imagined , airport was spotlessly clean as was their baggage handling services . 

Mr Ashok saw to it that we were off on a Bus to Ayodhya in a flash . It was a near Two and a Half Hour journey and we reached the Resort by 5.30 pm . 

Our Chennai to Lucknow Flight  was by The  Indigo Airbus A 320 Flight 6E 515  Aircraft with a capacity of 180 Passengers. 

That , we from the Sunder Travels made up for the larger part of these Seats made it a Big Group Travel .

लखनऊ अब पुराने ज़माने का नवाबों और शाइरों का जगह तो अब रहा नहीं .

गलियों और कोठों तो अब ना के बराबर  हैं .

इन सब खासियतों को तो अब पाखीजाः , साहिब बीवी और गुलाम या कागज़ के फूल जैसी फिल्मों देखने को मिलतीं हैं.

रही बात लखनऊ की मशहूर " पेहले आप , पेहले आप की बात जिसे बॉबी फिल्म याद दिलाती है , वो भी अब पेहले मै या पेहले हम में बदल गया है .

LUCKNOW AB PURAANE ZAMAANON KA NAWAABON KA , YA SHAAYIRON KA  JAGAH TO AB NAHEE RAHA .

GALIYAAN AUR KOTHE TO AB NAA KE BARABAR HAIN .

IN SUB KHAASIYATON KO TO AB PAKHAAZAH , SAHIB BEEWI AUR GULAAM YA KAAGAZ KE PHOOL JAISEE FILMON HEE ME DEKHNO KO MILTEEN HAIN .

RAHEE BAAT LUKHNOW KEE MUSHHOOR PEHLE AAP , PEHLE AAP KEE BAAT JISAY BOBBY FILM YAAD DILAATEE HAI , WO BHEE AB PEHLE MAIN YAA PEHLE HUM ME BADAL GAYAA HAI .

Near 70 of us were accommodated in the Resort which had all modern amenities. 

Snacks and coffee was served and we were off to the RAMJANMABHOOMI in Auto which is unique in these parts . Near 20 Minute Ride and we were at the entrance of the Sacred Place . Security being very strict except for the purse and our Room Key Nothing else was allowed . 

The Temple itself is a Masterpiece. Inspite of the large crowd the movement is very smooth and the Darshan is very fulfilling and very sacred. 

Next was the visit to the Sankat Vimochan Mandir of Shri Hanuman . Steep stairs have to be climbed for this Darshan . 

All in all an evening well spent for the Darshan of a Deity which is close to all our heart . 

Tomorrow we visit the Sarayu river and after a holy dip in the river we proceed to Prayagraj or Allahabad.
