SOME ARE BORN JUST PLAIN LUCKY - 725

   SOME PEOPLE ARE SURE ,  BORN LUCKY


Just the other day I came across a very interesting article in a Newspaper . Besides evoking many a guffaw for the comic relief that it provided and the  thought provoking insight  it provided , made me share my own views on the subject .

Prince Charles , Sorry , I need to Correct Myself , because he is now , 

HIS MAJESTY ,  THE KING OF GREAT BRITAIN  .

He has a special Valet , in all his Golden Livery , carefully sqeezing one inch of Toothpaste on to the Royals Golden Toothbrush before the Royal went to bed each night . There was  also a valet who ironed  his shoe laces each morning . The moot question though is  , does the Valet  also brush the  Royals Teeth after squeezing the paste on the Goldenn Toothbrush  . 

I also  wonder as to why the  shoelaces need to be ironed in the first place . It occupies a most innocuous place in the attire of a Man , Royal or Otherwise  . 

The important thing to note here is that Prince Charles got all of these absolutely  free . He got all this because he was born in a Royal Family .  There is hardly anything Royal about his Conduct or Demeanor . He abandoned his Wife who was amongst the most beautiful creatures to walk on this Earth and married a woman old enough to be his mother .

His Majesty King Charles had two distinct advantages . He was Royal and he was Rich . Both came by Accident and not by merit . The Accident though was entirely  the handiwork of his Royal Parents and he hardly  had any part to play in it . Be that as it may . He was just  simply lucky to be born in a Royal Family .

Closer home , we have many such instances . Even as the whole country was grappling with the fight against the Covid Pandemic and  when even stepping out of your house was a challenge , We had the superstar of the celluloid world  jetting around the world on a private aircraft .

A Cine celebrity's legal fight against paying the Import Duty for the Super Luxury Rolls Royce Phantom Car is a case in point . As to who garnered more  scoring points popularity wise  , the CAR or the ACTOR is the big question  .

Still Closer Home , we too have similar scenes being played out .

 The advantages of being born in a  "  Royal Family "  comes to the fore each time you switch on the TV to watch the News . The Father - Son Combo laying or should I say lying before the people to kick start  many new Schemes for the downtrodden like  you and me in a motorcade of of a few hundred Cars does leave one in awe . It leaves no one in  any doubt  about our future or  our destiny . The foot soldiers of 40 years or more of Service to the  party  can warm the benches and bruise their BOTTOMS  till they breathe their very last .

IT SURE IS GREAT TO BE BORN IN A FAMILY WITH THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS ROYAL OR OTHERWISE .

 AYODHYA YAATRA  DAY - ONE     Sundar Holiday Travels  As instructed  by Mr Ashok of Sunder Travels , we were dot on time at 9.00 thanks primarily due to smooth flow of traffic from Vadapalani to the Chennai  Airport .  Other Yatrees also slowly trooped in . Ayodhya Yaatraa Day -3 - 704

                  Ayodhya Yatra - Day 3  The highlight of the day was to be the Holy Dip in the Triveni Sangamam .  For the uninformed Triveni Sangamam is the place where the Three Rivers Ganga Yamuna and Saraswathy converge into one . It is the place where Veni Daanam is given after a bath in the River .  The 20 Minute Boat Ride takes you to this place of convergence of these three rivers . The Boatmen help you to take a dip in the water . Old set of clothes are discarded symbolising the discarding of everything bad and the start of a new fresh life .  Ganga is slightly murky while the Yamuna is clearer , Saraswathy is Antervaahini and it converges under water .  The Dhambadhi Pooja after the Dip in the Holy Waters  was performed with all the diligence that the occasion demands .  VAIKOM VISIT - IN GODS OWN                     COUNTRY  Kerala has always been my favourite place of visit over the years . Its cleanliness , its greenery,  waterways , not to forget its spirituality and beautiful people in more ways than one  have always held  a special attraction for  me . We , that is me and my Better Half have visited Kerala before  and visited many of  its  Temples and Tourist Attractions.  One place missing in this list has been the Viakom  Sri Mahadeva Temple . We decided to embark  on  a visit to this place and Mami was spot on to point out that there was a direct Train from Ambasamudram to Vaikom Road by the 16792 Palaruvi Express starting from ASD at 11.57 PM and reaching Vaikom Road Station at 7.30 Am the next morning .
