Thankfully the Green Fields are flourishing and the output due to scientific farming is on a constant upward spike . 

Tirunelveli HALWA is slowly getting a wider clientele .  IRRUTTU KADAI HALWA used to rule the market at one time . Many other brands which includes SHANTI SWEETS are now in the Market . In line with the TIRUPATI LADDU ; an outsiders visit to Tirunelveli is considered  incomplete without the purchase and distribution of the HALWA among their friends and relatives back home in their respective places .

However much that one might wish ,  the use of the TIRUNELVELI ARUVA for all the infamous reasons are showing no signs of a decline .

The trademark TIRUNELVELI KALI MARK GOLI SODA has been eased out of the Market and it's operations are now totally closed . My Son informs me that  the excursion by the Vikaasa School Students  included a mandatory  visit to the KALI MARKET GOLI SODA  FACTORY .

I write this piece as I came across a BOTTLE OF GOLI SODA  while we were at a restaurant in Ajax - Toronto , Canada . It had come from an establishment in Telengana . 

This brought forth the memories of Kali Mark GOLI SODA which was a Signature product of my Native Tirunelveli .

US VISIT 3 - SURPRISE PACKAGE - 777

         SURPRISE PACKAGE      VISIT TO NEW VRINDABAN  Our plan was to head for our home in Ajax after Breakfast as it was almost an Eight hour drive back home with  a number of Pitstops in between .   Sathya and Vandana gave us ( Revathy and Myself ) a pleasant Surprise by informing us that we were heading for NEW VRINDABAN instead  in the neighboring State of WEST VIRGINIA  . New VRINDABAN is the US Headquarters of the Popular  HARE KRISHNA OR ISKON Community in the US and the final resting place of their founder or PRABHUPADA . The Krishna Temple ; Palace of Gold ; Rose Garden ; Goshala ; Peacock Mount is very Scenic ; People from all over the World Visit this place in large numbers and stay here for a few days for enchantment and to be with  MOTHER NATURE at its very Best .  The travel time involved was just 60 Minutes of Extra Time from our place of stay but the last 20 Minutes of travel involved coveri...

Eight Hours of Anxiety - 758

      REGINA TO TORONTO VIA WINNIPEG !! Over the years , with my Daughter and Son stationed at Regina and Toronto in Canada , I have made a number of Trips by Air both ways from and to this place . The travel between these two places which is almost 2700 kms has a travel time of close to 3 Hours .  More often than not , the total  6  Hour  Time required from start to finish  is more of a joke and it usually takes almost double the time .Weather conditions , Snowing , Mechanical Repairs and surprisingly WANT OF PILOTS have all been the reasons for a delay during my previous visits . Our trip from Regina to Toronto was different this time . AIR CANADA FLIGHT AC 1114 SURPRISINGLY started on Schedule at 2.50 pm . Taxiing from the Bay to the start of the Runway was smooth .
