Just before we embarked on our Visit to Canada , we had to get some essential Medicines for ourselves and for our Kids and Grandkids in Canada . Over the Counter sale of Medicines without a Doctor's Prescription is a strict  NO in Canada .

Medicines for FEVER , CAUGH , COLD , LOOSE MOTION , VOMITING,  TOOTH ACHE , BODY ACHE , BURNS , DENTURE CLEANING TABS etc had to be procured . 

Appollo Pharmacy at Agasthiarpatty were a great help and went out of their way to be helpful in all our Requirements . 

This is when I realized the complexity of the Job on Hand . Medicines for Adult and Kids in varying Degrees of Measurement as 50 mm , 100 mm , 250 mm , 500 mm , Caugh syrup for Dry or Wet  Caugh , Adult , Infant or Kid had to be taken special care .

This is just about a list of 10 Basic Ailments that we are all aware.  Mankind suffers from a Thousand other Ailments and Medicines in unimaginable numbers need  to be Manufactured . Shelf Life , Degree of Concentration are also  issues which need to be taken care , PHARMA COMPANIES AND THEIR LOGISTICS AND PP& C DEPARTMENTS MIGHT BE HAVING ONE HELL OF A JOB IN the Manufacture and Delivery of the Products throughout the Length and Breadth of the Country and beyond . The process becomes even more Complex as India being the  PHARMACEUTICAL CAPITAL of the World , the needs of the Entire World has to be catered to .

I have my own experience though at a much toned down version at Madura Coats Ltd in its Weaving Mill Loomshed Monthly  Plans . 

This brings back Memories of the MONTHLY LOOM ALLOCATION MEETINGS  of the 384 Looms In my  Section . LOOM LEVEL  and Monthly Targets IN MTS  for each Code ; VOILE , 4084/37 , 4084/32 , HO55/37 , 1023 /37 , 1024/37 , CHAMBRAY , DENIM WERE DISCUSSED IN DETAIL .

Till Date , I somehow do not figur out  as to how the Average PPI ( PICKS PER INCH ) for the Section was arrived at which in turn plays a big  role in setting the Monthly Targets in Meters of Fabric to be Produced .

Being Incharge of Section 1 , I have had many a scuffle with my dear  Good Friend C RAJU who was Incharge of the Logistics during these Meetings .

SOLVING 150 PIECE 5X5 ITSELF A PROBLEM

IT IS BEYOND ME TO EVEN IMAGINE THE COMPLEXITY OF THE METICULOUS PLANNING THAT THESE PHARMA GIANT  COMPANIES HAVE TO GO THROUGH   TO SEE THAT NO PHARMACY  IS WITHOUT STOCK OF ANY OF THESE LIFE SAVING DRUGS AND  MEDICINES AT ANY GIVEN  TIME, BE IT RAVANASAMUDRAM , SHILLONG, JALPAIGURI , JAMNAGAR , JAISALMER  OR EVEN TIMBUKTU OR FOR THAT MATTER ANY PLACE ON THE PLANET .

Will be most Grateful if someone in our group who is  more enlightened or equipped in these matters , could  shed Some more  light on how they go about doing this without a  Hitch  at anytime .
