Eiffel Tower Paris and Montmartre/Regina /Canada 83

I guess I would be a in a  very limited company of people to have visited and  seen the EIFFEL TOWER in all its glory in PARIS and its miniature version at Montmartre some 80 km drive from Regina .
The fact that a place named as Montmartre  exist in both Paris in France and at a place near Regina in Canada sounds awesome but the similarity ends with the name alone .
The one in Paris  is a busy suburb and with many other tourist attractions .
Montmartre near Regina is anything but that . It is a small but beautiful village with all facilities including a park which also boasts of a swimming pool . More interestingly , the village has a population of only  450 people living at any given time .
The local authority's efforts in promoting such a small place as a tourist destination needs to be admired .
A lesson needs to be learnt here  for promoting the innumerable destinations of tourist interest that exist  back home in India.

 AYODHYA YAATRA  DAY - ONE     Sundar Holiday Travels  As instructed  by Mr Ashok of Sunder Travels , we were dot on time at 9.00 thanks primarily due to smooth flow of traffic from Vadapalani to the Chennai  Airport .  Other Yatrees also slowly trooped in . Ayodhya Yaatraa Day -3 - 704

                  Ayodhya Yatra - Day 3  The highlight of the day was to be the Holy Dip in the Triveni Sangamam .  For the uninformed Triveni Sangamam is the place where the Three Rivers Ganga Yamuna and Saraswathy converge into one . It is the place where Veni Daanam is given after a bath in the River .  The 20 Minute Boat Ride takes you to this place of convergence of these three rivers . The Boatmen help you to take a dip in the water . Old set of clothes are discarded symbolising the discarding of everything bad and the start of a new fresh life .  Ganga is slightly murky while the Yamuna is clearer , Saraswathy is Antervaahini and it converges under water .  The Dhambadhi Pooja after the Dip in the Holy Waters  was performed with all the diligence that the occasion demands .  VAIKOM VISIT - IN GODS OWN                     COUNTRY  Kerala has always been my favourite place of visit over the years . Its cleanliness , its greenery,  waterways , not to forget its spirituality and beautiful people in more ways than one  have always held  a special attraction for  me . We , that is me and my Better Half have visited Kerala before  and visited many of  its  Temples and Tourist Attractions.  One place missing in this list has been the Viakom  Sri Mahadeva Temple . We decided to embark  on  a visit to this place and Mami was spot on to point out that there was a direct Train from Ambasamudram to Vaikom Road by the 16792 Palaruvi Express starting from ASD at 11.57 PM and reaching Vaikom Road Station at 7.30 Am the next morning .
