WHATCOVID-19 AND LOCKDOWN MEAN TO NEAR 70 COUPLE - 154
My previous post on the subject of COVID 19 and how one could go about converting that into a boon was well received.
We are now almost well into the Second year of the Lockdown in some form or the other . That this Lockdown affects one and all is beyond any doubt . This has brought about different levels of discomfort to persons in different age groups .
Undoubtedly , the most affected are the Senior Citizens in the 65 plus age groups . As a section , most likely to get affected first, this fact in itself has its own attendant implications .
We both have stayed put inside the confines of our house for almost the last 10 months or more . I have rarely ventured out during this period . Walk to Manohar Raj shop to get the essentials just 2 blocks away have been the only times when I have dared to venture out .
Yoga and Breathing Excercise. Ramayan and Mahabharat on the TV , and the various activities in my Blogposts does keep us/me occupied .
One important addition is the brisk walk around the house at least 20 times each morning and evening to help us keep physically fit .
We do hope to contribute in our own small way towards the fight against COVID - 19 and the day of fully overcoming the same does not look to be very far .
