                        THE LONDON EYE
Almost 2 Decades after it opened , THE LONDON EYE has become one of  UK s most popular Tourist Attractions  and an Internationally recognized symbol and an easily recognizable Icon for London . It is a must in the itinerary  of anyone visiting London .
Self and Mami made a visit to this place when my Son was working in the UK at Leeds . The 2 day package tour to see London included  BUCKINGHAM PALACE , TOWER BRIDGE , SWAMINARAYAN TEMPLE , WESTMINISTER ABBEY , BIG BEN CLOCK , PARLIAMENT HOUSE AND MADAM TUSSAUDS WAX MUSEUM  . 

The highlight ofcourse is the spectacle from  the very top  of the LONDON EYE  which is  breathtaking . One  can have a panoramic view of the whole city of London City spread across almost 40 Kms . The view of  The Westminister Bridge , Big Ben , Westminister Abbey with the Thames River below is just plain awesome.

The London Eye is almost 140 Mts at its highest point . This makes it the 5 th tallest structure in London . Really fortunate to have made a visit to this Engineering Masterpiece.

US VISIT 3 - SURPRISE PACKAGE - 777

         SURPRISE PACKAGE      VISIT TO NEW VRINDABAN  Our plan was to head for our home in Ajax after Breakfast as it was almost an Eight hour drive back home with  a number of Pitstops in between .   Sathya and Vandana gave us ( Revathy and Myself ) a pleasant Surprise by informing us that we were heading for NEW VRINDABAN instead  in the neighboring State of WEST VIRGINIA  . New VRINDABAN is the US Headquarters of the Popular  HARE KRISHNA OR ISKON Community in the US and the final resting place of their founder or PRABHUPADA . NAVARATHRI GOLU 2025 - AJAX - 795

                    NAVARATHRI 2025   --  AJAX  We are at my Son and Daughter In Law’s place at Ajax in Canada this year for the Navarathri Festival . It is  a festival which has the Ladies garnering all the limelight during the Nine Day Festival with THE GOLU as the highlight . The men in the house have to get down the Cartons from the attic with the neatly packed idols of last year stored there with utmost care . Cleaning and dusting the same takes some doing . Getting the 5 or 7 Deck GOLU PADI is a big task in itself . Haarish , my son is good with his hands which includes the Carpentry work also .
