Wading 300 Mts in a Cave in Waist Deep Water - 352

       NARASIMHA JHARNI CAVE TEMPLE

Narasimha Jharni is a Cave Temple situated at Northern Karnataka , almost equi distant from Bangalore or Mumbai at around 700 Kms from either place .

The unique feature of this temple is that it is situated in a cave and more importantly one has to wade through almost 300 Mts of waist deep water inside the cave to reach the main Sanctum .

Truely remarkable place . The Video is almost 4 minutes , but do watch the same and let me have your comments .

  1. Where does the water come from? Is it still water as in a pond? How does it get cleaned? What forms of life thrive there? Some fish? Crabs? Why is the temple made this way almost showing people away? Women won't go. Short people won't go. I thought temples were built to bring people together
