The Message is Very Clear - 391

                    The Message is very clear .



Certain very clear but subtle messages are sent out each time you happen to look at the vernacular Newspapers . One is left with no doubt  about which side of the BREAD is buttered for the media personnel . They take hardly any pain to hide their loyalty to their political masters .

The front page coverage of NEERAJ CHOPRA s spectacular Gold Medal Win at the Tokyo Olympics is a case in point . The broad headline mentions the :

 "THE PRESIDENT AND MODI CONGRATULATE  Neeraj Chopra . 

Neeraj deserves all the praise and more , The President being the First Citizen of the Country  has showered the accolades on Neeraj Chopra s efforts  which has resulted in India getting the  First Gold Medal in a Track and Field event at an Olympics after 121 years .

But this second person by the name Modi fails to ring a bell . Was it Lalit Modi , the IPL scamster the Esteemed Newspaper was referring to or was it Nirav Modi who is reported to be cooling his butts in a prison somewhere in the Caribbean Islands or UK .

It took me sometime to realize that the person the Newspaper was referring to was the Elected Prime Minister of 130 Million Indians going by the name of Shri Narendra Damordas Modi .

The Least that the Newspaper could have done was Address him  as Prime Minister Modi or if it is beyond them to do so for reasons which we are all aware of  , address him by his full name .

SAD INDEED .

US VISIT 3 - SURPRISE PACKAGE - 777

         SURPRISE PACKAGE      VISIT TO NEW VRINDABAN  Our plan was to head for our home in Ajax after Breakfast as it was almost an Eight hour drive back home with  a number of Pitstops in between .   Sathya and Vandana gave us ( Revathy and Myself ) a pleasant Surprise by informing us that we were heading for NEW VRINDABAN instead  in the neighboring State of WEST VIRGINIA  . New VRINDABAN is the US Headquarters of the Popular  HARE KRISHNA OR ISKON Community in the US and the final resting place of their founder or PRABHUPADA . The Krishna Temple ; Palace of Gold ; Rose Garden ; Goshala ; Peacock Mount is very Scenic ; People from all over the World Visit this place in large numbers and stay here for a few days for enchantment and to be with  MOTHER NATURE at its very Best .  The travel time involved was just 60 Minutes of Extra Time from our place of stay but the last 20 Minutes of travel involved coveri...

                    NAVARATHRI 2025   --  AJAX  We are at my Son and Daughter In Law’s place at Ajax in Canada this year for the Navarathri Festival . It is  a festival which has the Ladies garnering all the limelight during the Nine Day Festival with THE GOLU as the highlight . The men in the house have to get down the Cartons from the attic with the neatly packed idols of last year stored there with utmost care . Cleaning and dusting the same takes some doing . Getting the 5 or 7 Deck GOLU PADI is a big task in itself . Haarish , my son is good with his hands which includes the Carpentry work also .
