 AC / BC - AN ALL NEW MEANING 

With due and sincere apologies to anyone who might be hurt by the use of AC - BC to denote a certain  period of time which the abbreviation seem to refer ,

BEFORE COVID - AFTER COVID

Our whole life and the way we now lead it  has seen a sea change from what it was before COVID attained its PANDEMIC proportions .

A ) My adventures into the Kitchen ,  have been restricted to the making of the early morning coffee for self and Mami .  The attempt to employ my culinary skills to prepare anything else would have been as futile as asking me to lead Appolo 11 on its mission to the Moon or try being an Edmund Hillary and make an attempt at the conquest of Mount Everest . The result would  have been disastrous and comical and catascrophic and in equal measure  .

These last close to 15 months have been a sort of an awakening where I have discovered a newfound liking for cooking . My better half now certifies me to be a pretty good cook . From what I know of her in lieu of my 40 years of married life , that does take some doing .

B ) I have not made a visit to the Hairdresser ( I for some reason  hate to use the word Barber  ) during the last 18 months now . I am my own Hairstylist and the Scissor and Comb in my hand does  seem to make me look better than what I did before the Lockdown . Atleast that is what my wife thinks so . The lady of the house can NEVER  be wrong , can she ? 

C ) The restricted use of formal dresses has meant that the IRONMAN has not been employed for the entire period and I now  IRON my clothes if and when required .

D ) For better or worse ,  by a strange coincidence  there has never been a  need to visit a Doctor and we seem to be even  better now  because of the same .

E ) With a total restriction on any type of movement , Bus , Train , Cab or Auto , travel has now become a thing of the past . Must make visits for any purchases have been by walk or on very few unavoidable occasions on the Motorbike .

F ) Purchases wherever possible have been on the Online Mode .
