On Northern Most Point Thus Far - 604

Setting Foot on the  Northern Most Point Thus Far Travelled by Me .

Coming as this does within 10 days of my arrival in Canada, our trip to Waskesiu was unique in more ways than one .

Waskesiu which is about 450 Kms from Regina and is at the Northern Most point in the Saskatchewan Province of Canada . 

As with most other regions , this place is unique for , 

Literally 100 s of waterfronts and beaches .

Shrouded by tall trees all around where the Suns Rays rarely reach the ground level directly and unhindered .

Home to Bear , Deer and Elf . We were lucky to spot all the three during our trip on Road .

There are Beautiful Resorts all around where visitors from all  across Canada , spend Time and Money in huge numbers to savor the Natural Beauty which is in abundance here .

During Summer Months the Weather in these areas are on the lines of Kodaikanal or Uthagamandalam at its coldest .

Winter around these parts is even more awesome with the entire area in a sheet of Ice . Skaking, Snowmobiking , Sledging , Trailwalk are the attractions which draw people in large numbers .

Being Summer Holidays , Haarish , Vandanaa , Adhvay and Little Akshatha from Toronto were also  at Regina at  Anoo and Kamesh's place at Regina . AARNA , ARYA , ADHVAY AND AKSHATHA MADE A FABULOUS FOURSOME AND HAD A GREAT TIME .

The added attraction was the Wedding Anniversary of my Daughter which was on the 4 th .

The stay at Elk Ridge Resort and the fully furnished place of stay was outstanding. 

The view from the HEIGHT OF LAND LOOKOUT TOWER , the highest point in Saskatchewan province was simply breathtaking . The Churchill and Saskatchewan Rivers Snaking their way far below with the Chilly wind swishing past your ears is an all new experience.

The Continental and Western food though not much of a hit with Me and Mami were an absolute delight for the Kids and their parents . We were happy with the Made at Home Puliyotharai and Thair Saadam .

 We hired two Cars for travel and covered many small villages which were straight out of the Scenes in many Western Movies of the Clint Eastwood , Omar Shariff or Telly Savalas Era .

All in all , the 4 Days spent in the company of the Dear Ones was an absolute delight .
