RANDOM THOUGHTS

              Trying Something Different  Time is an entity which fortunately with Gods Blessings I have in plenty . What I do not however have with any degree of comfort is a  Artistic bent of mind .  In fact Dubey Sir , wielding the much dreaded Stick for a none too impressive Amoeba on the Classroom Blackboard way back in my 5 th Standard at the  Bhilai School comes to mind in a flash . While packing the Clay  Idols after the recently concluded Golu and Navaraatri Celebrations,  I noticed that most  of them were badly damaged due to the wear and tear and chipping off of the paint at many places . Many of the Idols were even older than me and had been passed on in the family hierarchy . Despite being a novice,  I decided to try my hand at Repainting the Clay Dolls .  A search in the Net provided a lot of useful information.  I learnt that  Acrylic Paints were the Best for Clay Dolls .  I got the same from Amazon  Online . This came  with an Array of 24 Assorted Shades of 15 ML Tubes

देर से आयी, पर दुरुस्त आयी  मेरी , ये सेवा निर्व्युत्री यानी रिटायरमेंट के बाद की पहली दिवाली थी .  पुरानी बीती दिवालियाँ याद आने लगी. इनमे आख़िरी कुछ सालों में जब मैं वरिष्ट पद में था वो भी याद आने लगे .  दिवाली के येक हफ्ते के पहले से ही लोगों का आना जाना रेहता था और उपहार या गिफ्ट देना ऐक प्रकार की रीती बन चुकी थी .  उन सब के लिये कमरे में जगह बनाना आसान काम नहीं था .  उन में कई काम के चीज़ थे और कई जिन को देखकर घिन आने लगती थी . उन सब को फिर किसी और आइन मौक़े पर किसी और बेचारे को देना भी अपने आप में येक बड़ी दिमाग़ लगाने वाली बात थी . बादाम , पिस्ता और काज़ू तो दोस्तों और रिश्तेदारों को बाँटने के बाद भी बच जाया करते थे .  इस साल की बात तो बहुत अलग ही रही. दोपहर के २ बज चुके हैं और ना ही कोई मिलने आया या ना ही किसी ने फ़ोन तक किया .  यहाँ तक की अगस्थिआरपट्टी का सड़क का कुत्ता तक जो बाकायदा हर रोज़ घर पर ऐक चक्कर लगा कर जाया करता था , वो भी हमसे शायद कुछ नाराज़ होने के कारण ना आया.  मुझे अपने आप पर बुरा लगने लगा . और कोई काम नहीं होने के कारण मैं अख़बार पढ़ने लगा .  आध्यात्मिक पन्ने

           Surprise Meetings  over the Weekend  Nothing gives more pleasure than meeting someone after a very long period of time . Visiting places with this person ,  the spots which were a part of you over a long period of time is no less than a bonus .  Ganesh , my Son in Law Kamlesh’s Brother and Son of Rajagopalan Sir , who was also an Executive in Madura Coats visited us over the Weekend . I have known him from his Colony days as kid doing his Schooling at St Mary Higher Secondary School , VK Puram .  We took this opportunity to visit the School , Loganayaki Sweet Shop at Santhana Mariamman Kovil Bus Stop which was once famous for its Pakoda. The trip also included a Prokshanam at Papanasam Temple River Bed .  We decided to take the Aladiyur Route for our return to Agasthiarpatty . Irumbu  Palam or Iron Bridge over which we would have travelled countless number of times with the Tambarabarani River snaking her way below brought back nostalgic memories of the past .  The next stop
