Vaccine Certificate-The New Travel Document 357
Vaccination Certificates and Link to
Your Passport
Going by the way things are unfolding , the mandatory 72 Hour RT/PCR NEGATIVE Certificate before any Travel in the Domestic or International Circuits by Air , Train , Ship or Road will soon be a thing of the past . Your
FINAL COVID VACCINATION CERTIFICATE
will be the all important Document . So folks be sure to have a laminated copy of the same at all times and if you are an International Traveler , make it a point to have your PASSPORT Number as the verifying document in your Certificate.
Almost all countries that have opened up the borders for International Travel and others who will be opening up the borders shortly are expected to start insisting in on what is now being termed as The Vaccine Passport .
This is essentially your Final Covid Vaccination Certificate which mentions your Passport Number as your verifying document . Many like me did not envisage this scenario as we were almost the very first to get Vaccinated on March 2nd 2021 when the process was started for all above 60 years and had given our PANCARD DETAILS as the verification document . Both of us are frequent travellers abroad to be with our Daughter and Son who are settled abroad .
By the process which has been detailed below, Self and Wife got our Passport Number as the Verification Document included in our Vaccination Certificates and that too within a few minutes .
Considering the Sheer Volume involved , this is a stupendous initiative by the authorities . Kudos for making this possible . They deserve all the praise .
A BIG THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN .
Now the way to go about doing this .
Go to the COWIN website:
cowin.gov.in
• Login using the registered mobile number
. Select Raise a Issue
• Under Raise a issue- select the passport option
Select the person from the drop down menu
• Enter passport number
. Submit
You will receive the new certificate in seconds.
This would facilitate travel across both International and Local Borders when things improve for travel in the near future
