 WAY TO A SURE WIN AT THE                            HUSTINGS 

" hello brother , I have one small doubt "

" what is your doubt "

" what is the population of Tamilnadu "

" have you not heard it being repeated often , it is 8 Crores "

" out of them how many are doing Graduate Studies "

" I guess it should be around 2 Crores "

" how many among them would you think will be in the medical stream " 

" only around 5000 because that is all the seats that are available , the balance are combined in all other streams , why are you asking "

" out of 8 Crores population , only 5000 are in the Medical Sream who get admitted  under the NEET "

" yes , so what " 

" in those 5000 seats , 69 % come under the reservation category "

" yes , but why should that bother you " 

" because that leaves us with only 1500 seats in the open category " 

" yes , yes , what are you getting at "

" out of the 1500 seats , 7.5% are reserved for the students from Govt Schools "

" that leaves us with only 1400  seats " 

" yes , how does that matter to you "

" out of a population of 8 Crores , a paltry 1400 which is 0.002 % of the population , why is NEET being made into such a big issue ? "

" what you must note is that this would include those with a White Sacred  Thread over their left shoulder and whose forefathers had a tuft of hair at the back of their head " 

" come on brother , you must be joking ,  that number will never cross 200 each year , is all this noise for the 200 Medical Seats in a population of 80000000 which go by the name of SOCIAL JUSTICE OR INJUSTICE , depending upon which side of the bench that you are sitting in  " 

" you are getting it all wrong , their agenda is the VOTE and  each time a voice for SOCIAL JUSTICE is raised which was the MANTRA that brought them to power in the first place  ,  is now sure to  rebound into a few thousand votes each time a voice is raised in its name and a sure win at the hustings .

       LONG LIVE SOCIAL JUSTICE 

What sets me thinking now is ;

 As of now TAMILNADU is the only State which is against NEET EXAMS 

With the remote possibility of TAMILNADU getting rid of the NEET by a Presidential approval of their Anti NEET All Party Resolution,  how are the large chunk of Students going to get Admission into Medical Colleges of other States which have NEET Marks  as their yardstick for admissions. Our Plus 2 Marks will be thrown into the dustbin .

Happy with 5000 Students from Tamilnadu getting Admissions in Tamilnadu Medical Colleges , whereas it could have been many times this figure had it been open in all Colleges Across the Country. 

STUDENTS ARE GOING TO BE LEFT
