 YOU DO GET LUCKY SOMETIMES  Agasthiarpatty to  Tirunelveli to Bangalore to Frankfurt to Toronto  The Long hours of travel , first by a Cab from Agasthiarpatty to Tirunelveli on a road which is being widened and in very bad shape right now and then the Train journey from Tirunelveli to Bangalore which arrives at the City Station at 9.30 AM for us to  catch a flight at Bangalore Internationsl Airport at 3.15 AM the next morning all , with the six luggage in tow. Bangalore to Toronto by the Lufthansa service is enroute FRANKFURT with a near 5 hour layover at Frankfurt between the  nine and a half hour flight between Bangalore and Frankfurt first and then  the  eight and a half hour flight from Frankfurt to Toronto . These extra long hours of travel plus the LH754 Which is a Boeing 747-400 with a seating capacity filled to the brim of 570 passengers ,  Reportedly the largest Commercial Aircraft operating now ,   made the travel even more tedious even before entering the aircraft and occup

     SOMETHING GOOD ABOUT                          BANGALORE  The traffic related snarls on the roads of BANGALORE are always a point of discussion among the natives of the place or its hordes of visitors who throng this place for Work , Business or Pleasure  . My recent visit to this place brought out a striking difference to the scene on the roads of this Metropolis as compared to the ones that we have in our cities in Tamilnadu  . Traffic police in general and especially those in Bangalore are always at the butt end of a joke and their zest to make a fast BUC0K and fleece the public . Their role however needs to be commended for  ensuring that the Wearing of Helmets both by the rider  or the one accompanying him at the back have their Helmets on their head  at all times  . Except on very rare occasions I hardly saw anyone flouting this rule . The same is the case of the Seatbelts enforcement in 4 wheeler Drivers  . It is almost the reverse in Tamilnadu . LONG AWAITED CANADIAN VISA   With both our Son and Daughter settled in Canada , there was a need for a Visitor Visa to enable us to spend time with them . The Pandemic delayed our plans by almost 2 years . We were referred to by my Son to M/S Tern Voyages Private Limited at Chennai for getting our Canadian Visitor Visa . Our go to person at Tern Voyages was Syed Irfan Ali , a relative youngster who was all verve and enthusiasm in all his dealings with us . We being at Ambasamudram , a small town near Tirunelveli and Tern Voyages operating from Chennai was not at all an issue at all . The entire process of filling up of the umpteen documents , setting up the Bio Metric Appointment , Visa Approval and getting the Tickets for our journey were completed in just 35 days . The important point to note here is that we visited Chennai only once  and that too for giving  the Bio Metric at the VFS office   and spent less than an hour at the  Tern Voyages Office and also our face to face contact w
