   Halloween Day Regina / Toronto - Canada Not many from our part of the world might have come across the term HALLOWEEN DAY. It is a contraction of All Hallows Eve , a Holiday observed on Oct 31st each year , the evening before ALL SAINTS  ( or ALL HALLOWS ) day .  The celebrations marks the day before the Western Christian feast of All Saints and lasts for Three Days and concludes with the All Souls’ Day . In much of Europe and most of North America , observance of Halloween is largely non religious. Along with Skeletons and black Cats , the holiday has incorporated scary beings such as Ghosts , Witches and Vampires into the celebrations.                   PP&C , NEW THOUGHT    ( PROD / JUCT PLANNING COMMISSION ) Just before we embarked on our Visit to Canada , we had to get some essential Medicines for ourselves and for our Kids and Grandkids in Canada . Over the Counter sale of Medicines without a Doctor's Prescription is a strict  NO in Canada . Medicines for FEVER , CAUGH , COLD , LOOSE MOTION , VOMITING,  TOOTH ACHE , BODY ACHE , BURNS , DENTURE CLEANING TABS etc had to be procured .  Appollo Pharmacy at Agasthiarpatty were a great help and went out of their way to be helpful in all our Requirements .  This is when I realized the complexity of the Job on Hand . Medicines for Adult and Kids in varying Degrees of Measurement as 50 mm , 100 mm , 250 mm , 500 mm , Caugh syrup for Dry or Wet  Caugh , Adult , Infant or Kid had to be taken special care .           जलाकर राख हुवे हमारे पैसे और कईयों के ख्वाब आवो हम सब मिलकर इस ज़मीन और आसमान को धुवाँ और पटाकों कि आवाज़ से बचायें ।  हमारी इस ख़ूबसूरत धरती माँ को , और खूबसूरत बनाकर आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिये छोड़ जायें ।  चिड़ियों या जीव जंतुओं को पटाकों की आवाज़ों से बचाकर उन्हें भी चैन से जीने दें । उन्हें भी इस जगत में उतना ही अधिकार है जितना की मुझे या आपको है ! हमारी ख़ुदग़र्ज़ी उन्हें मौत के क़रीब पहुँचाती है । उन बेचारों को क्या पता की धड़ाके की आवाज़ कहाँ और कब आने वाली है ।  हम से अगर दस के पत्ते को जलाने को कहा जाये तो हज़ार बार सोचेंगे , लेकिन दीवाली के समय में हज़ारों रुपयों को पटाकों का नाम देकर जलाकर राख कर देतें हैं !!  हज़ारों , लाखों की संख्या में कई लोग आज भी भूक , बिमारी से राहत और रहने की जगह के लिए तरस रहे हैं ! उनके लिए ऐक दिन का गुज़रना ऐक सदी के बराबर बन कर गुज़ारना पड़ता है ।  अपने से कमायी हुवी पैसों को अय्याशी और जलाकर राख करने की जगह क्या हम उन्हें और बेहतर उपयोग कर सकते है ।  ये तो जरूर हम सब को समझने और सोच...

  DHANTERAS - DIWALI  EVE - KATPAGA VINAYAGAR - BRAMPTON - TORONTO  Yesterday being an auspicious day had us visiting the AARATHY JEWELLERS at Scarborough for some token purchases on the occasion of Dhanteras . Katpaga Vinayagar Temple at Brampton         (The Sri Lankans who Manage the Temple like to call the Karpaga Vinayagar as we call it , that way ) was our next place of Visit . Due to the Festive Eve ; the Temple drew a large number of Devotees . Brar Restaurant at Brampton very Close to the Karpaga Vinayagar Temple was earmarked by Sathya and Vandanaa for the purchase of Diwali Sweets . Brars Restaurant are the largest ethnic Buffet outlets in Canada . During the Diwali Festival , they create an exclusive space for the sale  Sweets and Savouries .       WHERE IS MADRAS / CHENNAI GOING  The recent announcement of Sunder Pitchai making an announcement of 15 Billion $ investment in a AI  Data Hub at Vishakapatnam , which is going to be its largest investment outside of the US makes interesting reading . This gains added meaning when the headline grabbing news of Hon Minister TRP RAJAS statement of RS 15 Million investment in a manufacturing facility near Chennai by FOXCONN , the largest manufacturers of Mobile Phone components . This was rubbished by FOXCONN themselves as nothing short of bullshit . This  just goes on  to highlight the height to which the false propaganda , the State Machinery will undertake to fool the Public just ahead of the State Assembly Elections .  LAST PURATTASI SANI 2025 - TORONTO  As part of our Weekly Practice of visiting Temples during all the Saturdays of the Tamil Month of Purattasi , Sathya and Vandanaa and the Kids took us to Sharadambal Temple at the Sringeri Vidya Bharathi Foundation at Etobicoke in Toronto . The recent installation of Balaji in the Temple and the Mandala Pooja associated with it was a highlight .  It takes some time to realize that we are now at Toronto in Canada and not in the Temples in and  around Ambasamudram which we visited during the same period last Year .

                          iPhone - 17                                          Iphone - 17 Two friends in conversation :-  “ So you have finally bought your IPhone 17 , is that right ? , how is it working ? “ “ No , I changed my mind , I have bought a new E Scooter instead . I drive down to their place whenever I want to talk with an acquaintance or relative , it works out much cheaper that way .  While chatting with them I get a generous helping of their hospitality with Biscuits and Tea .          A GOLU WHICH IS  NO LESS                               THAN A DIVINE ART EXHIBITION  We were at Ajax in Canada on Sunday the  28 th  of September 2025 . It was a special day for two reasons . I have always been a Cricket Buff and try to watch all India related matches wherever and in whichever time zone they are played in .  It was the day of the much touted  Title Clash and  the Finals Of THE ASIA CUP CRICKET MATCH between India and Pakistan which was being played at The Dubai International Stadium . The Match was Scheduled to start at 10.30 am  Toronto Local time . There was plenty of  On Field and Off Field  drama and acrimony by the Pakis during their previous  two  league stage Matches which were  won by India handsomely and by a huge margin at that .
