The GST RATIONALISATION announced by the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharamanji , which was brought about in consultation with the GST Council Members of which our own Esteemed State Finance Minister Thiru Thangam Thennarasu is a Member is a very big step to address the shortcomings of the last 8 years .  The same was announced by our PM Modiji during his Independence Day Address to the Nation .  The timing makes this even more interesting as  it comes in the wake of the steep increase in Tariff announced by you know who . The long festive season which kicks off with the onset of the Navarathri Festival on Sept 22 and and a huge spending spree will put more money in the hands of every single Family or Person,    This coupled with the Income Tax Exemption up to close to RS 6 Lakhs per Year is sure to put more money in the hands of the public at large .      FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR AKSHATHA  Except for stories being retold by our Parents  of our own FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL and the tantrums we ourselves created , not many I am sure will recollect the same . The Picture though of our own Children's  their first day at School will be much more clearer. Anoobala , my Daughter's Kindergarten Vikaasa  School was almost opposite our House in Madura Coats Colony in VKPuram before it got shifted to the EWART HOUSE , opposite the Ambasamudram Railway Station . ( Ewart House by the way was my own place of Residence before We moved  into the Colony ) . Lot of cajoling,  sweet words and Sweetmeats later , we were able to make our Daughter adjust to her new School . My Son HAARISH joining the Vikaasa School at Ambasamudram ,  was a lot different as we had to see him off at the School Bus Starting Opposite the then TAMBARABARANI CLUB .           EVERGREEN MEMORIES - सुनहरी यादें  कुछ ही दिनों पहले उद्योगपति आनंद महिंद्रा द्वारा आनंद फिल्म के बारे में उनसे लिखी  गई कुछ यादें देखने में आई । ये  यादें ५५ साल पहले जब वे सिर्फ १५ साल के उम्र के थे , उनकी  जिक्र कर रहे थे  ।  उनकी यादों ने हमे भी इस लाजवाब फिल्म की याद दिलाने लगी । उम्र की पाबंदी के कारण हमारी यादगाश कुछ कम होने के बावजूद , इस फिल्म की यादें अबतक बिल्कुल ठीक है। इस फिल्म को हमने अपनी २१ वे उम्र में १५ मार्च १९७१  में  हाजी अली , उस समय के शिवसागर एस्टेट के पास वाले लोटस थियेटर में देखी थी। हम चार sasmira के दोस्त  मुकुलेश , परशु , वर्मा और मै इस फिल्म को देखने गए थे ।  हमे मुंबई गये कई साल गुजर गये है  । इस थियेटर के अब के हाल के बारे में हमे नहीं पता ! मुमकिन है , वो  सुपर मॉल  या   ४० माले के घर में  बदल गया होगा । राजेश खन्ना उस समय के सुपर स्टार थे , और अमिताभ बच्चन भी बॉलीवुड में अपनी  खुद की जगह बनाना शुरू  कर चुके थे । आनंद फिल्म मुझसे द...
